So this sculpture of a surfer in Cardiff (northern San Diego) is routinely made fun of. I heard about it on the news after the latest prank with the pterodactyl. While the surfer's pose is rather ridiculous and appears to not even be riding a wave, there seems to be a very active pranking scene that perhaps makes it all worthwhile.
